Leadership

Leadership

The club leadership is made up solely through volunteerism of parents and sponsors of Pony Club. Each club has 4 elected positions: District Commissioner, one or more Jt. District Commissioner(s), a Secretary and Treasurer. The current officers are as follows:

  • Beth Slater, District Commissioner
  • Joy Kaser, Joint District Commissioner
  • Kim Kind-Bauer, Joint District Commissioner
  • Sharon Bradshaw, Secretary
  • Sue Jensen, Treasurer

The District Commissioner directs the clubs activities and maintains its status with the United States Pony Club, and relies on the support of parents and other volunteers to lighten the load. To that end, RCPC has established many committees for parents to choose to participate on. Following are our current committees:

  • Monthly Educational Meetings
  • Mounted Clinics
  • Ratings
  • Social
  • Fund-raising
  • Membership
  • Equipment/Jump/Trails
  • Nominations
  • Special Projects Leads
  • Summer Camp
  • Barn Committee
  • Club Member Roster
  • Volunteer Hours Tracking
  • Budget Committee
  • RCPC Newsletter
  • RCPC Website

Chairs meet with the RCPC Working Board and club officers (interested committee volunteers welcome), on the first Thursday of each month. They are at 7 PM unless otherwise notified and held at the Center. Every parent is expected to be on at least one committee.
